Mad for Habitats at Madison

Today we kicked off two very exciting units. Students in Ms. Thompson's room are working on habitats, and that means becoming research scientists as we observe real, live, mealworms! Students were excited to set up the meal worm habitats and get ready to observe how they change and grow; using a science journal to reflect on those changes.

Students in Ms. S's room are learning about folktales, folklore and morals. Students enjoyed listening to my favorite folktale : Maybela the Clever and then used a checklist to understand elements of folktales.
